Louise Bourgeois, Eye Mask.

This humorous silk eye mask is inspired by Louise Bourgeois, who was an insomniac for most of her life, and described sleep as ‘paradise’. This eye mask features an image of Bourgeois’s own eyes, that offers you the wise and watchful eyes of the iconic artist, while you sleep. The strap is elasticated to fit comfortably over your head and features the phrase ‘Key to insomnia: peace or trust‘, which, references a note written on the back of one of Bourgeois’s 'Insomnia' drawings from the mid-1990s. The mask is finished with blue and white stripes that are inspired by Bourgeois’s fabric drawings from 2003.
